Some people modify their Moleskines (they make daily planners too, just so you know), but those leather-bound ones are pretty neat too. Now, for the camera phones, I don't think they add or subtract anything one way or the other. They're just phones with a toy in them, and if you really want to take pictures, get yourself a point-and-shoot digital instead.
