I have a myspace account (www.myspace.com/nikki72581) and a typepad blog (www.nicoleronchetti.typepad.com) and was verey excited when I received my invitation to VOX (www.nikkir.vox.com). Myspace escpecially has gotten so commercialized since FOX bought it and with so much publicity there are so many people online the service is aweful. It is always having prolems. Many people share my frustration with the site and I've been looking for an out. I'm cancelling my myspace by the end of the week... just need to make sure everyonne knows all my contact info. So yeah, I do kind of think people need another community. There are so many people joining new online communities everyday, there are still even people who do not know what a "blog" is. Personally, I think myspace is just a fad. I'll keep VOX and typepad.
