VERY sound advice!
It is so true that you need to go into a stock shoot with the possibilities of "end use" in mind. A little planning for your shots can make them go from snapshot to stock-star files in the blink of an eye.

Aside from planning, definitely the most important thing is picking your BEST from the shoot. Not every image you shoot is going to be golden. I know that I burn through my fair share of duds (images I feel are below my own standards) before getting shots that I am truly happy with. It's all about being as objective as you possibly can be about your own work. It's the hardest trick to learn, but once you learn to successfully self-critique your sessions and you are able to whittle your selection down to your best images (ones that carry good messages and have a lot of potential for the designer's end use), you will be well on your way to more downloads.

Great series, Rasmus.
