The First Portfolio Consultation

There is still time to put your name in the virtual glass jar, if you’d like to get a one-on-one portfolio review with me. I did my first test session yesterday with Lee Torrens of Microstock Diaries fame and his better half, Flavia. Initially, I thought they might be too good to benefit from my advice (they work as a team), but afterwards, he assured me that was not the case.

Lee had sent me three full res photos ahead of time, and though we did go over all three, most of the time was spent discussing portfolio strategy and direction. Lee came in very prepared, which was a great help for me; it’s so much easier to address specific issues and answer direct questions, than it is to poke around various topics (not that we didn’t do that too). The hour went by surprisingly fast and at the end of it, I walked away inspired and optimistic. I have a feeling we could have talked twice as long and still not be out of things to talk about.
