I recently ordered a new stack of plain, blank Moleskines using Moleskinebooks.com (a small store selling via Amazon.
A couple of days after ordering the books, I got an e-mail from the vendor, saying that the postal service had returned the package as undeliverable. They then added, that since they were based in Seattle, they would hand deliver the order instead, if I could just confirm the address. Which I did.
So, today they call me up and say: You home? I say that I am, and fifteen minutes later a guy rings my doorbell. How is that for customer service?! I will go so far as to say, that this is the best service I have gotten in any online deal. When they could have just as easily simply cancelled and reversed the order, they went above and beyond to make sure, I got my stuff.
I know where I’m getting all my future Moleskines.
