I’m trying something different in the campaign: adding a published adventure to the mix. It wasn’t really planned, I just happened to be browsing the D&D shelf and spotted “Orcs of Stonefang Pass” on the shelf. It claimed to be an adventure for 5th level characters, which happened to be where the party was.

It’s time I post the first campaign recap, so both players, myself and readers who aren’t playing can keep up. Obviously, a lot of detail is lost when you compress many hours of gaming like this, but you should still get a good idea of what’s going on.
The campaign began when the heroes went to Mirrorwood and discovered a potentially dangerous organization called The Divine Order (TDO). Religious fanatics blaming studies of the Arcane for everything that is bad in the world, and therefore seek to eradicate it. Reporting on what they had found, the heroes were recruited by Queen Amaphina II of Arathor to find out more about TDO. Continue reading
Remi was cornered, having left the group downstairs to spy on the camp up in the ruins. She had rushed in, and now she saw the hulking shape of an undead ogre, a Zombie Hulk coming at her fast. Before she could react, it had her in a tight grip. Fight as she did, she was unable to get away from the undead foe. In only a few seconds, she was put down in the middle of the camp. Facing her was the cleric Brother Malden of The Divine Order, and two of his personal guards.
“Surrender, or die.” He said.
